McMullen's Lab

Welcome to DNAAlignEditor Tool

The DNA Multi-Alignment Editor (DNAAlignEditor) tool is designed to record the alignment information generated at University of Missouri-Columbia, generate reports, and export information to other software for analysis.

The DNAAlignEditor is projected to be a general-purpose interface for editing several sequence alignments after the initial alignment of sequences using ClustalW or MUSCLE. General information related to the primers, genes, and amplicons can be added to the system either using the user interface or loading a tab delimited file. Multiple sequences can be imported to the system using three different file formats: Fasta format, standard format, and phrap ace format. Download publication at: BMC Bioinformatics DNAAlignEditor.

This software is developed for Windows-based computers.
